The Variable Clock Rate I2C Bus Host Adapter is a special version of our iPort Windows to I2C Bus host adapter. Capable of mastering the I2C at 451 Hz to 57 KHz clock speeds, this host adapter is compatible with IC simulators and emulators that must operate the bus at low speeds. The Variable Clock adapter is also capable of communicating with early versions of ICs that may not be capable of operating at full bus speeds.

Included with the Variable Clock I2C Bus host adapter are special versions of the MCC’s Message Manager and Message Center for Windows applications that enable a user to master the bus at various clock speeds. Master, Slave, Transmit, Receive. Variable Clock I2C Bus host adapter supports all I2C message modes including Multi-Master, Arbitration Detection, Repeated Starts, and messages from 1 to 64K bytes in length.
