I2C/SMBus Analyzer Software V1.6 Maintenance Update

Are you currently using our I2C Bus/SMBus Analyzer Software Package (SMB-SW.EXE) with our I2C Bus Monitor (#MIIC-101)? If so, then you may want to download this latest version of our software package. The enhancements / features / corrections we have added to this product include:

Enhancement: Address Map Control In Byte Mode

Address Map control has been added to Byte Mode display of message data. Byte Mode displays bus message data byte-by-byte as each byte crosses the bus. Alternatively, Message Mode displays message data only upon seeing the a Stop at the end of the message. Previous versions of this program did not use the Address Map to filter the display of messages.

Correction: Log File Display

This program update includes the following corrections regarding the display of log file (*.i2c) data:

1. Correct Log File (*.i2c) Display premature termination.
2. Correct Log File (*.i2c) Display formatting.
3. Correct Exit procedure after viewing log file.
4. Correct Log File (*.i2c) Display missing lines.

   1. Make a backup copy of your existing SMB-SW.EXE file.
